What We Use
All of our chains are high-quality 14k gold-filled or sterling silver — perfect for everyday wear and made to last through swims, showers, workouts, and all your daily adventures.
That said, gold-filled isn’t the same as solid gold — while it’s water-resistant and super durable, it’s not totally indestructible. Since your piece is welded on and can’t be removed, here’s how to keep it looking its best without taking it off:
Rinse with clean water rafter swimming, sweating, or applying products like sunscreen or lotion.
Avoid harsh chemicals(like chlorine, perfume, or anything acidic), which can break down the finish over time.
Gently polish your jewelry with a soft cloth while it’s on your skin — no need to take it off!
Our silver chains are .925 Sterling Silver & Everyday Wear is prefered!
Sterling silver loves to be worn. The natural oils from your skin can help minimize tarnish — so wear it proudly.
Gentle Cleaning Use a silver polishing cloth to bring back shine if it starts to dull or tarnish. Avoid abrasive scrubs or dips, especially since your bracelet is permanent and not easily removed.
Tarnish Is Natural
Tarnish doesn't mean it's damaged — it's a natural reaction and can be polished away. Regular cleaning keeps it bright!

Permanent Jewelry Warranty & Repair Policy
We stand behind the quality of our permanent jewelry. Here's what you can expect:
✔ If your piece was purchased from us:
We will always reweld or repair it free of charge if it breaks or falls off. Just bring it back in, and we’ll take care of it.
🔧 If your piece is from another company:
We’re happy to reweld it for a $20 service fee, but please note:
We cannot guarantee the durability of chains or materials not provided by us.
If it breaks again, the re-weld fee would apply again.
We do not add or attach charms that are not our own (even if you'd like to add them to one of our chains). We only work with the charms we offer.

Our Materials and Pricing
That “waterproof, sweatproof, swimproof” jewelry you’ve seen all over? It's gold-plated stainless steel — and yes, it’s highly water-resistant, but let’s keep it real: nothing that isn’t solid gold is 100% waterproof.
At Chasing Indigo, we use gold-plated stainless steel for our chains and many of our charms some charms are gold-plated brass - carefully chosen for their durability, and affordability.
Gold Plated Stainless Steel
This material is very water-resistant and ideal for everyday wear. It resists tarnish, fading, and rust better than most fashion jewelry metals — so if it gets wet occasionally, you’re good. Still, we recommend avoiding long exposure to water (like swimming, showering, or hot tubs) to help the gold plating last longer and stay shiny.
Gold Plated Brass
Gold-plated brass has the same gorgeous look, but it’s a little more delicate. Keep it dry and store it in a cool, moisture-free place to avoid tarnish or oxidation over time.
